The overall pattern will remain quite cool for the next several days and the winds will be an important factor across central Florida.  High pressure off the coastline will combine with low pressure to our west to form a tight pressure gradient and winds will be quite persistent as a result going right through the weekend.

7:00 AM | Cold front working its way southward through the Florida Peninsula

A cold front will work its way southward today through the Florida Peninsula and eventually make it all the way down to the Florida Straits.  Showers can accompany the frontal passage later today and isolated thunder is not out of the question for parts of central Florida.  High pressure will push towards the coast during the mid and latter parts of the week and winds will increase intensity as it cools down some.

7:00 AM | Starts off warm this week, but turns cooler at mid-week

The new week will start on a warm note with high temperatures both today and Tuesday likely reaching the low-to-mid 70’s.  The warm start to the week will be somewhat unsettled, however, with a chance of showers on each day.  It’ll turn slightly cooler for the second half of the week and a chance of showers will continue on a daily basis.

It looks like quite a cool week across central Florida with most days featuring highs confined to the 60’s.  High pressure will remain in control and winds will be quite noticeable for the next 24 hours or so.  A cold front arrives at mid-week reinforcing our cool trend in temperatures.

It looks like generally warm, but unsettled weather for central Florida during the last couple days of the work week.  There is a chance of showers each day, perhaps a thunderstorm mixed in, and some patchy fog is possible at any time.  At the end of the work week, a cold front will swing through the region and temperatures will be in a downward trend for the weekend.
