7:00 AM | Warm and unsettled right into next week with a daily shot at showers

High pressure slides off the east coast today and our low-level winds will veer to an easterly direction resulting in more moisture-laden air in central Florida.  As a result, the chances for PM showers will increase today and there will be a daily threat this weekend and early next week as warm, moist air mass sticks around.  Temperatures will climb well into the 70’s for highs across central Florida each of the next several days.

High pressure over the western Atlantic will continue to influence our weather as we progress through the weekend and a frontal system has stalled out across northern Florida.  This combination of high pressure to our east and a weak front stationed to our north will keep the region warm, but unsettled into early next week with a daily shot at some shower activity.

A weak cool front will slide through the region later today and it’ll turn noticeably cooler in the overnight hours.  This cool down won’t last too long, however, as high pressure will push to our east by Sunday and our temperatures will respond by climbing back into the 70’s.  The chances for showers will increase late in the weekend and early next week as a weak disturbance passes by to our north.

High pressure will push to our east today and allow for the influx of milder air and high temperatures later in the day will reach the middle 70’s.  It’ll remain relatively warm on Friday, but then turn a bit cooler this weekend and there will be an increasing chance for showers.

7:00 AM | Another chilly day in central Florida following another cold frontal passage

A strong cold front dropped through central Florida on Monday and Canadian high pressure will build into the region and provide us with chilly air into midweek.  Temperatures today will hold in the lower 60’s and likely drop to the low-to-mid 40’s in the overnight hours. This high will then push offshore during the latter part of the week and we’ll experience a warm up and also an increasing chance of showers.

Yet another cool down is headed to central Florida.  Canadian high pressure will build behind the next strong cold frontal system and provide us with chilly air into midweek.  This high will then push offshore during the latter part of the week and we’ll experience a warm up and also an increasing chance of showers.
