Strong low pressure continues to move slowly northeastward off the Northeast US coastline this morning and it has resulted in another cold air push into central Florida.   As a consequence, much of the week will be cool and breezy in Florida as all systems will be slow to move due to a strong blocking pattern in the upper-atmosphere well to our north.

 Low pressure will push off the Mid-Atlantic coastline today and push a chilly air mass into the Southeast US.  As a result, much of the week will be cool and breezy across Florida as all systems will be slow to move due to a strong blocking pattern in the upper-atmosphere well to our north.

A strong cool front ushered in cooler air for central Florida during the rest of the work week.  Winds will be quite gusty again today and this will make it feel even cooler than the actual air temperature.  It looks like it’ll take to the weekend for an appreciable warm up in central Florida, but with the warm up will come an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms.

A strong cool front is going to pass through the region tonight and it’ll usher in cooler air for the mid and late week time periods.  Winds will be quite gusty through tomorrow and this will generate large ocean swells and rough surf.  It looks like it’ll take to the weekend for an appreciable warm up in central Florida.

A strong cool front has passed through the region in the overnight hours and it’ll be noticeably cooler today compared to recent days.  This weekend high temperatures will struggle to reach 70 degrees and overnight lows will be way down in the quite cool lower 50’s.  In addition to the cooler air mass, winds will be quite stiff through tomorrow and this will make it feel even cooler than the actuall air temperature.

Strong high pressure over the western Atlantic will control our weather for another day and we’ll experience very warm conditions with afternoon highs reaching the middle 80’s.
