The overall weather pattern across the nation continues to feature eastern US high pressure ridging and a trough of low pressure in the west. As a result, the weather pattern over Florida will continue to be on the warm and dry side with daily high temperatures around here not far from the 80 degree mark.

High pressure over northeastern US will push a weak front into Florida as we begin the new work week and this system will stall and dissipate over the next couple of days. The stalled out frontal system – though on the weak side – will do no more than result in an isolated shower or two over the next few days. Temperatures will generally be on the warm side with highs likely to fall within a couple degrees of 80 on a daily basis (normal high now at Melbourne is 76 degrees).
