7:00 AM | *March was very warm and dry across central Florida and the pattern continues*

Paul Dorian

After one of the warmest and driest March’s we have had in central Florida, the current dry, warm weather pattern shows no sign of easing as high pressure continues to be the dominate player in the southeastern states. It’ll stay warm and dry through the weekend around here and right into the middle of next week. Temperatures will climb to the middle 70’s this afternoon and a warming trend will bring us to the middle 80’s by next Wednesday.

Paul Dorian

Low pressure has pushed off the east coast and will try to head out over the open waters of the Atlantic, but it’ll run into a blocking pattern aloft and slowly loop back around in coming days towards the NE US. Around here, this low will have no impact on the weather and our dry and warm pattern will continue. Temperatures will climb to the middle 70’s this afternoon and a warming trend will bring us the 80’s again by early next week.

Paul Dorian

Low pressure is pushing off the east coast and will try to head out over the open waters of the Atlantic, but it’ll run into a blocking pattern aloft and slowly loop back around in coming days towards the NE US. Around here, a big difference will come about today with regard to temperatures thanks to the passage of a strong cold front last night. Temperatures will be confined to the lower 70's for highs this afternoon with a noticeable breeze and then we'll enjoy rather pleasant conditions for the late week and weekend.

Paul Dorian

High pressure ridging in the upper part of the atmosphere will continue to be the main player around here in central Florida as we head into the upcoming weekend. It looks like a continuation of dry and very warm conditions for the rest of the week and likely right to the middle of next week. Highs will generally be in the low-to-mid 80’s over the next few days and overnight lows not far from 70 degrees.

7:00 AM | *Very warm pattern could result in some broken high temperature records in coming days*

Paul Dorian

Low pressure will push through the Mid-Atlantic region today, but high pressure ridging in the upper part of the atmosphere will continue to be the main player around here across central Florida. It looks like a continuation of dry and very warm conditions for the rest of the week and likely right through the upcoming weekend. Temperatures should reach the 80's during the next several days with the middle 80’s possible for highs not only this afternoon, but also on both weekend days after a bit of a downturn on Thursday and Friday. In fact, there is a chance for some record high temperatures to be set in Florida as the warmer-than-normal pattern continues into next week.
