Tonight

Partly cloudy, chance for showers and thunderstorms in the evening, some of the storms can be strong, lows near 55

Thursday

Monday

Mostly sunny, cooler, maybe a shower or thunderstorm, near 80

Discussion

There are signs for cooler weather to return to the Rockies late this weekend or early next week, but for now we’ll remain warm and high temperatures should reach the 85-90 degree range through Saturday. Scattered thunderstorms are possible each of the next couple of afternoon and evenings and some of the storms can reach strong levels. By early next week, temperatures may struggle to reach the 80 degree mark as cooler air will move in from the west.

7:00 AM | Not far from the 90 degree mark each day this week

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Today

More clouds than sun, windy and warm, chance for showers and thunderstorms, upper 80’s

Tonight

Partly cloudy, windy, chance for showers and thunderstorms in the evening, lows near 55

Wednesday

Partly sunny, still warm, chance for showers and thunderstorms, mid-to-upper 80’s

Wednesday Night

Mostly cloudy, chance for showers and thunderstorms during the evening hours, near 55 for lows

Thursday

Friday

Mostly sunny, very warm, near 90

Saturday

Mostly sunny, very warm, near 90

Sunday

Mostly sunny, very warm, maybe a shower or thunderstorm, near 90

Discussion

Much of the west coast and much of the east coast remains below normal temperature-wise thanks to upper level troughs off of both coasts, but an upper level ridge continues to persist over the Rockies, and, as a result, it’ll stay well above normal for much of the week. There will be scattered shower and thunderstorm activity over the next few days with the greatest storm chances on the eastern slopes and foothills.

7:00 AM | Winds will be an issue right through tonight; cooling trend this weekend

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Today

Early morning clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, windy with gusts to 30 mph, highs in the upper 60’s

Tonight

Mostly clear, windy with gusts to 25 mph, lows near 60

Wednesday

Mainly sunny skies, still windy, low-to-mid 70's

Wednesday Night

Mostly clear, breezy, near 60

Thursday

Mostly sunny skies, pleasant, low 70's

Friday

Mostly sunny skies, pleasant, highs near 70

Saturday

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, cooler, mid-to-upper 60’s

Sunday

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, near 65

Discussion

An upper level trough off the Pacific NW coast will keep that part of the country cool and wet, but rain should make it no farther south than the central valley. Winds, however, can get quite gusty today as a fairly strong cold front approaches the central coast, but they will relax by tomorrow afternoon. A cooling trend is likely to develop as we head into the weekend.

7:00 AM | Very warm weather pattern continues for much of the week

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Today

Mostly sunny, windy, very warm, an isolated shower or thunderstorm, near 90

Tonight

Mostly cloudy, breezy, chance for a shower or thunderstorm, near 60

Tuesday

Mostly sunny, breezy, very warm, slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm, mid-to-upper 80’s

Thursday

Mostly sunny, still a chance for a shower or thunderstorm, mid 80’s

Friday

Mostly sunny, warm, mid-to-upper 80’s

Saturday

Mostly sunny, very warm, near 90

Discussion

Above normal temperatures will continue early this week as winds turn southerly in all levels of the atmosphere as an upper level ridge shifts east of Colorado. In fact, this above-normal temperature pattern will likely continue right through the work week with temperatures still within range of 90 degrees on Friday.

7:00 AM | A bit cooler this weekend with winds picking up

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Today

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, breezy, highs near 70

Tonight

Mostly clear early then partly cloudy late with fog reforming, lows near 60

Saturday

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, windy, mid 60’s

Saturday Night

Mostly clear early then partly cloudy late with fog reforming, breezy, near 60

Sunday

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, breezy, highs in the upper 60’s

Monday

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, mid-to-upper 60’s

Tuesday

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, mid 60’s

Wednesday

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, upper 60’s

Discussion

The overall weather pattern will generally remain the same for the next several days with early morning low clouds and fog; especially, along the coast, which will then give way to mostly sunny skies during the afternoon hours. The one change may be the pickup in the winds over the weekend as gusts to 20 mph or so are possible. High temperatures will be trending slightly downward with mid-to-upper 60’s likely this weekend into early next week.

7:00 AM | Much warmer weekend coming with highs approaching 90 degrees by Sunday afternoon

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Today

Becoming mostly sunny, warmer, low 80’s

Tonight

Partly cloudy, cool, low 50’s

Saturday

Mostly sunny, even warmer, upper 80’s

Saturday Night

Partly cloudy, mild, upper 50’s

Sunday

Mostly sunny, very warm, near 90

Monday

Mostly sunny, very warm, chance for a shower or thunderstorm, upper 80’s

Tuesday

Partly sunny, warm, mid-to-upper 80’s

Wednesday

Partly sunny, not quite as warm, maybe a shower or thunderstorm, low-to-mid 80’s

Discussion

After a relatively cool Thursday, a warming trend will begin today and temperatures will get well above normal this weekend. Highs should reach the low 80’s today and could get close to the 90 degree mark by Sunday afternoon. As far as precipitation is concerned, afternoon and evening isolated showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out over the next several days, especially over the mountains, but the vast majority of the time will be rain-free.

7:00 AM | Gets very warm for the weekend

Paul Dorian

6-Day Forecast

Today

Partly sunny, pleasant, near 70

Tonight

Partly cloudy, cool, upper 40’s

Friday

Becoming mostly sunny, warmer, low 80's

Friday Night

Partly cloudy, cool, low 50’s

Saturday

Mostly sunny, even warmer, mid-to-upper 80’s

Sunday

Mostly sunny, very warm, near 90

Monday

Partly sunny, chance for a shower or thunderstorm, still warm, mid-to-upper 80’s

Tuesday

Partly sunny, warm, mid 80’s

Discussion

A cool front will bring somewhat cooler conditions to the area on Thursday with highs struggling to pass the 70 degree mark. Warmer conditions, however, will quickly return to the region with temperatures climbing to 80 degrees on Friday and then well up in the 80’s this weekend with 90 degrees even possible by Sunday afternoon. While a shower or thunderstorm cannot be completely ruled out for the next few days, the vast majority of the time should be rain-free.

Tonight

Mostly clear early then partly cloudy late with fog reforming, breezy, lows in the low 60’s

Monday

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, mid-to-upper 60's

Tuesday

Early morning fog and clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies, mid-to-upepr 60's

Discussion

The overall weather pattern will remain the same over the next several days with early morning low clouds and fog; especially, along the coast, which will give way to partly-to-mostly sunny skies during the afternoon hours. High temperatures over the next several days will have a slight downward trend from the low 70's today to the mid 60's early next week and lows at night generally not far from 60 degrees.
