Discussion
We’ve been somewhat protected in recent days by large upper level ridging across the western states, but that pattern will break down over the next few days and allow weak disturbances to affect the region. Today will turn out to be quite mild, but somewhat cooler conditions will prevail for much of the second half of the week. By late in the weekend, there may be increasing chances for steady snow as even colder air heads our way for the early part of next week.
