Discussion

Quite warm weather is expected for the next couple of days along the coast with hot conditions in the interior sections of southwest California where triple digit temperatures can be expected. The main player for the next couple of days will be strong upper level high pressure situated over the Great Basin. Low pressure may approach the coast by the weekend which could bring about a slight cooling trend into the weekend with a renewed onshore marine-layer flow of air.
