Discussion
High pressure should control our weather for much of the week and temperatures will be above normal through the weekend; especially, in inland areas where 90’s are likely each afternoon including in downtown Los Angeles. The main axis of hotter-than-normal weather has shifted westward in recent days to the Interior West from the center part of the country and this new pattern will continue through the weekend. Slight cooling is possible on Sunday.
