A strong cool front passed through the region overnight and has ushered in a much more refreshing air mass compared to recent weeks. Temperatures this afternoon will hold in the 70’s and will remain in at rather comfortable levels on Friday as well. Temperatures will rebound over the weekend and into early next week, but no extreme heat is expected.
