Discussion

Upper level high pressure continues to dominate the California weather scene. Temperatures may run above normal for the next couple of days, but will be trend a little bit lower next week. There are some hints that a few showers or thunderstorms could form in and around the LA basin later today and tonight into early Saturday as a surge of moisture heads northwards so stay tuned on that possibility.
