Discussion
A strong cold front passed through the region overnight and the change in temperatures will be quite dramatic for today. An even stronger cold front should come through Friday night possibly accompanied by some snow and temperatures on Saturday will get no higher than 40 degrees with a few snow showers likely. Just how cold is this air mass...these kinds of high temperatures expected on Saturday are some 30 degrees below normal for this time of year. Temperatures will relax somewhat as we begin the new week with highs in the 60’s likely on Monday and Tuesday, but there are other cold air outbreaks waiting in the wings.
