Discussion
Temperatures will moderate this afternoon after a very cold start to the day and will remain at moderate levels for the rest of the week. High pressure ridge will generate a strong northwesterly flow aloft today and this will gradually shift eastward during the middle of the week. By late in the week, another storm system will approach the region from the southwest, but its moisture content appears to be rather limited.
