Discussion
A dry and warm day is in store for the region as southwesterly flow of air aloft promotes a noticeable warming trend. A strong upper level low pressure system, however, will begin to bring about changes on Friday and, as that trough moves closer, it will actually generate much colder conditions along with more significant accumulating snow from Friday night through Saturday evening. In fact, accumulations could reach the 6-12 inch range by late Saturday night as this storm slides through the southern Rockies. Enjoy the mild weather today!
