Discussion
The deep upper level trough that pushed much colder air back into the region for the last couple of days and gave the region another significant springtime snow accumulation is now exiting to the east and a dramatic warm up should ensue. The game early Tuesday between the Rockies and Braves was the coldest ever played in Denver with a starting game temperature of 23 degrees. Temperatures today will climb past 50 degrees, still way below normal for this time of year, but much better than yesterday. The 70 degree mark is likely on both weekend days and the mild weather should continue early next week as well thanks to the building upper level ridge into the western states.
