Discussion
An upper level wave of low pressure will enhance the chances for showers and thunderstorms later today into Friday evening as it drags a surface frontal system across the southern Rockies. Some of the storms that form with this frontal system can get quite strong over the next 36 hours or so with heavy rainfall and gusty winds. Temperatures will trend downward behind the front on Friday and Saturday to close out the week.
