Discussion

There is not much change to the overall pattern of the last few days. High pressure in the upper atmosphere stretches from the Four Corners region to the southern Plains and will continue to generate very warm conditions in the southern Rockies for the next several days. Enough monsoonal moisture will be around in the southern Rockies to allow for the slight chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. The best chance for these showers and thunderstorms will be over the mountains with little chance of coverage over the plains. High temperatures will stay slightly above normal over the next several days generally reaching the upper 80’s in and around the Denver metro region.
