Discussion
Cooler weather will persist into mid-week, but a major warm up is in the offing at the end of the week and a significant Santa Ana wind event is possible. Following the passage of an upper level trough, high pressure will build into the southwestern states at the end of the week resulting in very gusty winds (offshore), well above normal temperatures, low humidity and the result will be an increasing fire danger.
