Discussion
The cold weather will continue until mid-week thanks to large and cold surface high pressure centered in the Great Basin region. The next couple of nights will remain especially cold with frost and freeze conditions still possible in the normally colder inland locations. A slow warming trend will begin at mid-week and temperatures may actually climb to above normal levels by the weekend.
