An unusual cool air mass for this time of year will retreat by the early weekend; however, another cool air mass will be charging towards the Southeast US from the Upper Midwest. This next cool shot will arrive by the second half of the weekend likely to confine high temperatures in the 70’s on Sunday and during the beginning of next week.
