Discussion
A deep and well organized low pressure system will lift northeastward today towards the Great Lakes region and this will bring a broad upper-level trough into the eastern US. This action will also erode the western Atlantic ridge that has been dominating our weather scene in recent days and allow for a frontal system to stall in the region. As a result, the weather for the next couple of days will be unsettled. Another frontal system will bring more unsettled weather to the region later in the week.
