High pressure will stay in control of the weather around here for the next couple of days with dry and very warm conditions. High temperatures during the next two days will end up right near the 90 degree mark in much of the local area. Low pressure will move towards the Mid-Atlantic coastline by early Saturday and it will drag a weak cold front across Florida. This frontal system will increase our chances for showers and thunderstorms on Saturday, but Mother's Day should turn out to be quite nice.
