Discussion

High pressure continues to reside over the western Atlantic and it is pumping warm, humid air into the region. As a result, our chances for daily showers and thunderstorms will continue; especially, at mid-week when an upper-level wave of energy approaches. Temperatures will generally hold at normal to slightly below normal levels for much of the week in large part due to an abundance of clouds.
