Discussion

High pressure continues to persist over the western Atlantic and this position will promote a favorable environment for afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms during the next few days. In fact, this “Bermuda high” type of weather pattern will likely persist right well into next week continuing our daily threat of showers and thunderstorms through at least next Wednesday. Temperatures on each of the next several days will come close to the 90 degree mark for afternoon highs.
