Discussion

The threat for showers and thunderstorms will continue for the next several days as very high levels of moisture will persist over the Florida peninsula right into next week. Any shower or thunderstorm that forms in this very moist air mass can produce heavy rainfall in a short period of time as precipitable water levels are quite high. High temperatures over the next few days will be rather high with most days climbing to within a degree or two of 90 degrees to go along with the high humidity.
