Discussion

High pressure ridging will extend across Florida today and after a chilly start to the day, temperatures will rebound nicely to the nearly normal high of 80 degrees. Onshore northeasterly flow of air will develop later in the work week and high temperatures will moderate a bit to the upper 70’s at the end of the work week and for the upcoming weekend. By the latter part of the weekend, our winds will become more easterly and this will add moisture to the environment and the result will be an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms.
