Discussion

High pressure ridging will push off the coast today and continue to have an impact on Florida’s weather for the next few days. After a very warm day today with afternoon temperatures well up in the 80’s, north-to-northeast flow of air will develop on Friday and high temperatures will moderate a bit to the upper 70’s for the end of the work week and the upcoming weekend. By the latter part of the weekend, our winds will become more easterly and this will add moisture to the environment and the result will be an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms.
