Discussion
Low pressure over the eastern Gulf of Mexico has pushed deep layers of tropical moisture into the region and it will continue to result in occasional rain and thunderstorms across central Florida. Some of the rain can be heavy at times with an additional couple inches possible by later tonight. Any thunderstorm that forms over the next couple of days could contain tropical downpours and frequent lightning.
