Discussion

Slow-moving sub-tropical low pressure (Alberto) over Alabama continues to push deep layers of tropical moisture northward into Florida and much of the eastern third of the nation and it will continue to result in occasional showers and thunderstorms across central Florida. Some of the rain will be heavy at times over the next couple of days and flash flooding concerns will be on the rise and the pattern remains quite unsettled later in the week as well.
