Discussion
Strong high pressure ridging along the east coast will begin to lose its influence this weekend as a tropical disturbance tracks this way from the Bahamas. This feature is intensifying this morning as it treks to the west and has cool air aloft which will destabilize the atmosphere here this weekend and increase chances for significant rainfall. Both weekend days could see some shower activity across central Florida and thunderstorms are likely to mix into the picture as well with downpours possible. These unsettled conditions are likely to improve slowly during the early part of the new week.
