Discussion

High pressure ridging will build over the SE US over the next few days and rather typical weather will continue across central Florida with very warm and humid conditions and scattered showers and thunderstorms. Looking ahead, strong high pressure ridging will expand into the Northeast US later next week and it looks like it will stick around into the beginning of July. This type of pattern will likely open the door for some westward-moving tropical activity as we begin July anywhere in the SW Atlantic, Caribbean Sea or Gulf of Mexico. Stay tuned.
