Discussion

The western Atlantic ridge of high pressure that has impacted our region in recent days will continue to do so for the remainder of the week. As a result, hot and humid air will continue to flow northward into the region and we’ll experience scattered showers and thunderstorms and high temperatures near the 90 degree mark. The tropical Atlantic continues to remain relatively quiet for this time of year.
