Discussion

A persistent area of high pressure over the Southeast US will continue to result in warm weather across Florida with highs for the remainder of the week falling in the 75-80 degrees range. A weak front has stalled in the area and has enhanced chances for showers and this threat will continue through the week. The high pressure ridging in the upper part of the atmosphere will weaken some this weekend and that may result in scattered showers.
