Discussion

A persistent area of high pressure over the Bahamas will continue to result in warm weather across Florida with highs near 80 degrees through the weekend. A weak front has stalled in the area and has enhanced chances for scattered showers and this threat will continue through the weekend. The high pressure ridging in the upper part of the atmosphere will weaken some this weekend and will allow for a frontal passage and it’ll turn a bit cooler early next week.
