Discussion

A weak cold front will push southward through the region late today and a trough will form aloft going into the mid-week time period. As a result, the pressure gradient will tighten and winds will be on the increase over the next couple of days and the threat for showers will increase. High pressure will edge into the area during the late week and the winds will tend to diminish and the weekend could turn out quite nice.
