Discussion

The big weather story this week will be the widespread Arctic air outbreak that will result in much of the eastern 2/3rds of the nation being way below normal for the early part of March. Temperatures will climb to near the 80 degree mark later today ahead of a strong cold front, but the temperature trend will turn downward following the passage of the frontal system. By mid-week, highs will likely be confined to near 60 degrees compared to the near 80 degrees as we start the new work week.
