Discussion

The next couple of days will generally be limited in terms of shower activity, but a wetter pattern is setting up for the weekend. A trough of low pressure will extend southward along the eastern seaboard by the weekend and it’ll help to increase chances here for showers and thunderstorms. In fact, the threat for rain will increase at the end of the work week and likely continue right into the early part of next week.
