Discussion
Ridging aloft will extend eastward this weekend from Texas to the Gulf of Mexico and even into early next week and this will help to keep us rather moist and quite warm. Meanwhile, the Atlantic Basin tropical scene is rather quiet right now and may stay that way for the next several days; however, there are signs for a buildup of activity during the second half of the month.
