Discussion

An extended period of warmer-than-normal weather will continue in central Florida for the next few days, but there are big changes in temperatures likely to come next week. The dominant weather feature will continue to be a strong ridge of high pressure over the western Atlantic Ocean that will promote warm weather across the Florida Peninsula and highs near 80 degrees for the next three days. It’ll turn somewhat cooler by the beginning of next week and there are signs for a much colder air mass to reach Florida later next week.
