Discussion

Strong surface high pressure will dominate the weather scene in the southeast US as we begin the new work week and it should provide us with dry and noticeably warmer conditions across central Florida. After a chilly weekend, it’ll feel quite a bit milder today with temperatures climbing back to the more seasonal low-to-mid 70’s for afternoon highs. It stays warm around here through mid-week, but a late week cool frontal passage is likely to bring cooler air to the region and a threat of showers.
