Discussion

The new week will start off with dry weather and warming temperatures behind the passage of a frontal system and the expansion of high pressure into the western Atlantic. As the high pressure pushes slowly to the east, winds around here will veer out of the east on Tuesday and then southeast on Wednesday resulting in a warm up with upper 80’s in interior sections by mid-week. A frontal system may cross the region on Wednesday night and Thursday giving us a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
