Discussion
Increased moisture will likely result in more widespread showers and thunderstorms across central Florida today and this higher risk of rain will continue into the end of the week. Temperatures will be quite warm today with afternoon highs generally in the mid or upper 80’s before a few degrees are knocked off on Thursday as a front sags into the region. The overall pattern will result in windier conditions on Friday and also during the weekend as high pressure builds southward over the western Atlantic producing persistent onshore in the area.
