Discussion

The first half of the week will feature summer-like heat across the region with afternoon highs through Wednesday in the mid-to-upper 80’s. Winds will be brisk from a southeasterly direction and showers cannot be ruled out later in the day. By mid-week, a cold frontal system will reach the northern part of the state and this system will increase the chances here on Wednesday night and Thursday for numerous showers and thunderstorms.
