7:00 AM | *PM showers and thunderstorms a threat today...maybe some wildfire smoke across the region next couple of days*

The overall weather pattern remains on the mild, damp side as we begin the new work week with temperatures doing no better than the lower 80’s for afternoon highs. Beyond today, the weather turns warmer and generally drier for the next several days and we’ll get back to 90+ degrees later in the week. One final note, there can be some wildfire smoke in the region during the next couple of days which may act to reduce temperatures by a few degrees during daytime hours.

The hottest stretch of weather so far this summer season will continue for one more day with afternoon highs well up in the 90’s’ however, relief is on the way for Tuesday and Wednesday. While there can be scattered PM showers and storms here on Monday, the chance for rain will increase on Tuesday and Wednesday as cooler air pushes into the region.

The hottest stretch of weather so far this summer season is coming to the Denver metro region from today through Monday with 100 degree afternoon highs on the table. Strong ridging in the upper-levels of the atmosphere will result in plenty of sunshine on a daily basis into next week with largely rain-free conditions and soaring temperatures potentially to triple digit levels.

The hottest stretch of weather so far this summer season is coming to the Denver metro region from late this week through the upcoming weekend. In fact, temperatures could soar to the upper 90’s on any day from Friday through Sunday and Monday won’t be much of a relief as temperatures then can climb to the middle 90’s. In terms of rainfall, it looks mainly rain-free through this hot period with only isolated-to-scattered thunderstorms on the table for the afternoon and evening hours.

7:00 AM | *Quite comfortable weather for the Independence Day holiday*

The Independence Day holiday will feature very nice overall weather conditions with plenty of sunshine and a comfortable combination of warm temperatures and low humidity values. The cooler and drier air mass will stick around on Friday and then it turns warmer to begin the upcoming weekend. The best chance of rain during the next few days likely comes on Sunday and only isolated showers are possible before the latter part of the weekend.

The weather will be unstable today with the chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms and some of the storms can be strong. It turns cooler for the 4th of July Independence DAY holiday with highs on Thursday in the lower 80’s to go along with very breezy conditions with gusts to 25 mph or so. The weather remains quite comfortable on Friday to close out the work week and then turns warmer and more unsettled again this weekend.
