A very hot start to the week with afternoon highs on Monday in the middle 90’s across most areas. There will be isolated-to-scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms each of the next couple of days. More numerous PM showers and thunderstorms are likely at mid-week as an upper-level trough approaches the region.
