An active weather pattern will bring about a sharp shortwave today into the Tennessee Valley Temperatures and this can result in clusters of strong thunderstorms as the atmosphere destabilizes. In fact, some of the storms later today and this evening can reach strong-to-severe levels with damaging wind gusts and hail on the table.
