It’ll stay pretty mild for the next few days with high temperatures through the weekend generally in the 60’s. It will also be unsettled during the next few days with a shower from time-to-time. Much colder air should return early next week and this could result in the return of snow shower activity as we begin the month of April.

A warming trend begins here today at mid-week and temperatures will rise from highs this afternoon in the low-to-mid 50’s to the low-to-mid 60’s by tomorrow afternoon. After that, even milder conditions will develop around here with highs back up to near 70 degrees by the weekend and Easter Sunday is looking quite pleasant with plenty of sunshine and afternoon highs in the lower 70’s.

Today will be another chilly day across Colorado with highs in the 40’s, but a warming trend begins at mid-week and temperatures on Wednesday afternoon should make it into the lower or middle 50’s. After that, even milder conditions will develop around here with highs back up in the 60’s to go along with partly-to-mostly sunny skies from mid-week into the weekend.

A disturbance that produced snow around here last night can bring us more snow showers this morning and temperatures should be confined to the upper 30’s for afternoon highs. It’ll remain somewhat unsettled during the next couple of days with the possibility of additional snow shower activity. The weather settles down at mid-week and a warming trend brings temperatures back to the 60’s by the end of the week.

7:00 AM | **It turns colder late this weekend and the chance of accumulating snow returns**

The next couple of days will remain on the mild side across Colorado with an upper-level ridge of high pressure still in control. It turns cooler on Sunday as an upper-level trough moves into the region and then colder by the end of the weekend. In fact, accumulating snow will return as a strong possibility in the Denver metro area by Sunday night as low pressure heads this way combined with an influx of colder air.
