Shower/storm threat during midday and then again late today; pleasant Wednesday and Thursday
Paul Dorian
A warm front will move through the region late this morning and it could set off a shower or thunderstorm and then a cool front will move in from the west early tonight. The cool front will likely generate a band or two of showers and thunderstorms that could affect the region late this afternoon and early tonight – perhaps even interrupting the Phillies/Red Sox game. Some of the storms that develop late today and early tonight will contain heavy rain for a brief time, but then some clearing will take place late tonight. Humidities will drop tomorrow and it’ll turn out to be a pretty nice day with plenty of sunshine as will the following day. The weekend promises to get hot and humid again as high pressure will set up off the coast and begin to pump in warmer and more humid air from the south with a thunderstorm threat on Saturday and Sunday. Today- partly sunny, hazy and humid with the chance for a shower or thunderstorm during the mid-day hours and then again late this afternoon, highs in the mid-to-upper 80’s
Tonight- showers or thunderstorms possible early tonight and some of the rain could be heavy, some clearing late tonight, low-to-mid 60’s for lows
Wed- mostly sunny with lowering humidity, warm, mid 80’s
Thurs- mostly sunny, pleasant, near 80
Fri- mostly sunny, a bit more humid, warm, mid 80’s
Sat- partly sunny, hot and humid with a thunderstorm threat, near 90
Sun- partly sunny, still hot and humid with a thunderstorm threat, near 90
Mon- partly sunny, hot, near 90
