Another nice couple of days

Paul Dorian

High pressure will continue to control our weather into the weekend. Today’s comfortable air mass, however, will be replaced by hotter and humid air this weekend once the high moves off the east coast. The return flow around the back side of the high will usher in south-to-southwest breezes and that will help to raise the heat and humidity for the holiday weekend. While there will be a thunderstorm threat Saturday night and Sunday, most of the time will be rain-free. A weak front should slide through Sunday night and that could reduce humidity levels for the holiday on Monday. Today- mostly sunny and still comfortable, warm, low-to-mid 80’s

Tonight- mainly clear, pleasant, upper 50’s

Fri- mostly sunny, warm, still only low-to-moderate humidity, low 80’s

Sat- partly sunny, hot and humid with the threat of a thunderstorm at night, near 90

Sun- partly sunny, hot and humid with another chance for a thunderstorm, low 90’s

Mon- mostly sunny, still pretty hot, but less humid, upper 80’s
