Heat and humidity with "hit or miss" showers and storms next few days
Paul Dorian
A weak frontal system continues to hang around the Mid-Atlantic region and it will enhance our chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms over the next few days. Temperatures will remain on the high side with highs likely to reach 90 degrees for the next couple of days along with uncomfortable humidity levels. Another weak front to our west will likely pass through the region by the weekend reducing our chances for scattered showers over the weekend; however, temperatures will still remain quite warm. Today- a mix of clouds and sun, very warm, more humid with a scattered shower or thunderstorm, near 90
Tonight- partly cloudy, muggy, a scattered shower or thunderstorm, upper 60’s
Thurs- partly sunny, still very warm and humid with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms, near 90
Fri- mostly cloudy, warm and humid with a shower or thunderstorm still possible, mid-to-upper 80’s
Sat- mainly sunny, warm, mid-to-upper 80’s
Sun- mainly sunny, very warm, upper 80’s
Mon- mainly sunny, very warm, upper 80’s
